Am I the right partner for you?

With text services, style obviously matters a lot. Not everyone can do everything equally well. My strength are fact-oriented texts. Advertising is not my forte. Samples of my work can provide you with an idea of whether my style matches your taste. I will be pleased if it does. If it doesn’t, I will gladly help you find the right partner.

I do translations from English to German myself or in collaboration with freelance colleagues. Translations into English are contracted out to or, as far as I do them myself, checked by qualified native speakers of English. If necessary, I will co-ordinate translations into other languages for you. Or I can help you find a suitable partner.

How much does it cost?

As a first step, you can request a non-binding quote. If you find it satisfactory and I am still on your list, I will be glad to send you a binding quote. In that case I require the complete original text and binding details regarding the desired due dates and forms of delivery. (Should you then decide not to place the order with me after all, you can of course be assured that your documents and information will be dealt with confidentially.)

Once you have placed an order with me …

In the event that you are not satisfied with my work …

please contact me as soon as possible with your complaints. I will correct any shortcomings without delay or – for example if you have already done so yourself – offer you an appropriate price reduction. However, with written texts there is sometimes considerable scope for judgements of taste. If you are not satisfied with the text I delivered, even though my work does not contain any patent errors, I will do my best to find a mutually satisfactory solution.

Deadlines …

are always met. If things get really tight, I will contact you in good time to clarify whether an extension of the deadline is possible. If that is not the case, I will do everything possible to find a solution in agreement with you. This could involve, for example, the use of freelance colleagues (at no extra cost to you).
